Thanaka Clear Cleanser
A short-contact wash with 2% salicylic acid that clears the pore without stripping it.

Myanmar thanaka skincare
Five products, one routine. A modern system for breakout-prone skin, built on thanaka from a single township in the dry zone — the same species that can be nine times stronger in one place than another, tested and printed with where it came from.
The routine
Most acne routines sell you a harsh product and then a second one to repair the damage. This one is built to do both jobs at once: unclog the pore, settle the skin.
A short-contact wash with 2% salicylic acid that clears the pore without stripping it.
150 ml
The hero. Thanaka, 4% niacinamide and centella in one cream that calms as it clears.
30 ml
A fast, clear gel for the day a spot appears. Light enough to wear out of the house.

For the marks a breakout leaves behind. Marmesin is a tyrosinase inhibitor, so it fades.

SPF 30 that finishes matte. Thanaka has absorbed UVA for two thousand years.

The hero formula
Every ingredient is listed with its percentage and the job it does. Nothing on the label is decoration.
Helps calm breakout-prone skin and reduce the appearance of blemishes. A cosmetic, not a medicine — it is not intended to treat or cure acne.

No filler names. Five products, and the reason each substance is in the jar. Tap a product to see its full list.
Formulas in development. Percentages are shown where they are set in the plan; the active concentrations follow the stated formula, and the bases are listed so nothing is hidden.
Our thanaka
Thanaka is not one thing. Measured by HPLC, the marmesin content of stem bark from three townships came out at 12.86, 7.61 and 1.38 mg per gram. A buyer who does not ask where the bark came from is guessing. We only buy from Myaing, and we print it on the label.

Sets
The first batch is deliberately small — the three products that do the work, then the essence and sunscreen four months later once the routine is selling.
The three that do the work. Everything you need to begin, nothing you do not.
Our story
Thanaka has protected skin in Myanmar for two thousand years. What it has never had is a label that tells you what is inside it.
Our grandparents ground bark on a flat stone with water, every morning, before the day started. It worked. It just did not fit a morning with a bus to catch.
The ready-made thanaka on the shelf solved the inconvenience and lost the point. Pastes and body lotions that calm the skin but do nothing about the pore. Textures that dry down chalky by ten in the morning. No ingredient list worth reading.
THAÈRA is the version that keeps both halves: the tree, and a formula built for skin that breaks out. Made in Myanmar, formulated with a named township on the carton, and priced level with the imported brands it sits next to.
Thanaka is a plantation crop in the dry zone, with more than 300,000 acres under cultivation. We buy from named growers and keep the paperwork.
Only the bark is used for paste and the heartwood is usually thrown away. Our extract line is designed to use it.
The second purchase comes in a refill pouch that costs the customer less and uses less plastic. That is the plan from batch two.
First batch
One email when the first three products ship, and nothing before that.
